The
MIPI M-PHY Frame Generator software allows to use the Agilent 81250A
ParBERT and adjacent instruments as integrated physical layer test
system for MIPI M-PHY receivers. The MIPI Frame Generator controls
ParBERT and the external clock and jitter sources such as the Agilent
E4438C. It generates MIPI M-PHY data sequences and allows changing the
pattern as well as signal levels, frequency and timing parameters. Many
parameters can be changed on the fly. The bit error ratio (BER) is
displayed on-line. Support for the Agilent J-BERT will be available
soon.
The
MIPI M-PHY Frame Generator software is mainly a tool for bring-up and
debugging M-PHY receivers on the physical layer and for semi-automated
device characterization. Option 165 of the ValiFrame
Test Automation Software Platform provides automated compliance tests
and device characterization, but with less freedom for combining level
and timing parameters during the test.
