Overlaying individual bits on test instruments such as oscilloscopes generates the „eye diagram”, a diagram which often has an eye shape. An example is given in the picture below.
For data transmission, a good bit stream requires that the eye opening is sharp and stable. In short form, this translates to „Bit if Eye”.
The founders of BitifEye have many years of broad experience characterizing and testing leading edge digital devices. The systems developed include an extensive range of measurement techniques, system complexity and configurations. Past solutions have been based on high level software environments, such as Agilent VEE or National Instruments LabView. The teams most recent solutions utilize the Microsoft .NET Framework and programming in C#.
