BitifEye is the market leader for digital measurement and test technology applications. At our headquarters in Böblingen, near Stuttgart, our highly motivated research and development team is continuously working on new technologies and innovations of state-of-the-art semiconductor test applications. Our customers include well-known manufacturers of semiconductors – both nationally and internationally. They rely on our expertise in testing chips for high-speed data connections such as USB or HDMI in products like smartphones, tablets, gaming devices and TV sets. Whatever the fastest devices on the market, we are already one step ahead, working on solutions for testing upcoming generations of digital interface standards.
Your tasks
- You will operate as a full-cycle developer for BitifEye’s framework: define, architect, document, develop, test, support.
- In addition, you will troubleshoot, debug and solve framework-related issues.
- You will work with the engineering teams on their projects to provide guidance on topics ranging from coding style to software architecture (goals: reusability, flexibility, simplicity, maintainability and quality).
- When the teams have questions regarding the software architecture, they will turn to you for clarification.
- You will also contribute to enhancing and maintaining the software development quality assurance process at BitifEye.
- Together with the leader of the framework development team, you will work on the technology roadmap, feature definitions and backlog prioritization.
Your profile
- You have a Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science or similar.
- In your professional experience in software development (min. 3 years) you focused on backend, framework development, and software architecture.
- You can demonstrate expertise in a modern object-oriented programming language (C# preferred).
- You are familiar with agile software development.
- Technology and complex systems are your passion.
- Your personality suits an open-minded, results-driven and agile way of working.
- Your communication skills are good.
- You speak and write English fluently.
- You appreciate working with peers in a diverse and multicultural environment.
- You are familiar with WPF and MVVM or similar modern GUI patterns and technologies? That is a plus.
- Any familiarity with remote control of test and measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes is also a plus for you.
