First Release: February 2020

Focus: Receiver PHY validation for reliable in-vehicle networking between ECUs, cameras, and sensors at low to mid data rates.

Value:

  • Automates Rx PHY compliance and robustness testing (BER, SQI, noise tolerance)
  • Supports current Automotive Ethernet CTS requirements for 100BASE-T1 and 1000BASE-T1 receiver testing

  • Characterizes Rx PHY noise immunity and sensitivity beyond ideal lab conditions
  • Validates real-world robustness required for automotive sensor and display links

First Release: March 2025

Focus: Receiver PHY validation for high-bandwidth Automotive Ethernet (2.5G / 5G / 10G) used in ADAS and centralized vehicle architectures.

Value:

  • Verifies Rx PHY performance at multi-gigabit speeds under realistic channel impairments.
  • Implements receiver tests aligned with the applicable MultiGBASE-T1 CTS definitions.
  • Enables receiver margin analysis and early-stage debug prior to formal compliance testing.

  1. Automotive Ethernet 10BASE-T1S Receiver Testing (AE10VF)

Expected Release: Q1/Q2 2026

Focus: Low-speed automotive Ethernet Rx testing (10 Mbps)

Value:

  • Extends coverage to IEEE 802.3cg CTS by enabling receiver BER testing, ensuring robust validation at 10 Mb/s.
  • With this addition, BitifEye will offer Rx PHY test solutions across the full Automotive Ethernet spectrum, from 10BASE-T1S up to multi-gigabit Ethernet

  1. OpenGMSL Alliance – Contribution to New SerDes Standard

Membership Since: October 2025

BitifEye Role:

  • Chair of OpenGMSL Test Working Group is Yash Pathak from BitifEye.
  • Leads definition of CTS (Compliance Test Specification).

Goal: Establish open, interoperable test methods for GMSL-based automotive SerDes
